Volunteers build home in a week
Habitat project marks ministry's 10th year

EDNEYVILLE -- The chilly temperatures of Saturday froze the ground around the new Habitat for Humanity house being dedicated, but a large group of supporters still came out with warm hearts to celebrate with the new homeowners.
The house was dedicated in Habitat's Shuey Knolls development in Edneyville.
In just seven days, a house stood where there was once empty ground. It was a way for Carpenter's Hands Ministry to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
"It's the first time we've built a house in a week," said Michael Nelson, volunteer director of Carpenter's Hands Ministry of Mud Creek Baptist Church. ....read more
