A new Habitat for Humanity community is planned for Henderson County, and the neighborhood will include homes for older residents and the disabled, according to Hoyt Bynum Jr., the local chapter’s executive director.
“We’re anticipating 90 homes to be built there over the next 10 years,” Bynum said. “Ten will be duplexes, a first for Henderson County, which will be built for the disabled or elderly populations. We’re very excited.”
