In Kind Gifts & Donations

In-kind donations—like building materials, furniture, or appliances—are a great way to support Henderson County & Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity, and they’re tax-deductible! Retailers often donate overstock items, which we sell at our ReStore to fund Habitat’s work. Every donation, big or small, helps us bring better opportunities to families in need of a home. We believe every company has something to give, so reach out if you’d like to contribute and make a difference.

What We Accept:

We accept in-kind donations like food and drinks for events, plumbing and electrical supplies, office furniture, new building materials, and gently used items like appliances and furniture. Land donations also make a big difference in helping us build homes for families in need!

How to Coordinate In-Kind Donations

Our partners play a key role in making our work at Habitat possible. In-kind donors provide a breakdown of the costs for their services or supplies. Habitat will send a thank-you letter, but it’s up to the donor to assign a fair market value for tax purposes.
