Dodd Meadows is a new community in East Flat Rock, NC, named after former Habitat for Humanity president Steve Dodd. It will provide 114 homes for families, including seniors and those with disabilities, and feature energy-efficient, safe designs. The development includes parks, playgrounds, trails, and more. Shuey Knolls
Shuey Knolls is located in Edneyville, NC, off of Chimney Rock Road (Hwy. 64). Made possible by a gift from the estate of Margaret Shuey, it consists of 67 homes with a community center and park lands providing green spaces and recreational spaces for its residents.
Highlander Woods
Built on land purchased using a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Highlander, this community consists of 17 homes in a wooded area of rolling hills located in Hendersonville, NC.
The Village at King Creek
Habitat purchased this Hendersonville property from Housing Assistance Corporation and constructed 3 homes with families in need of decent housing.
Kay Thomas Drive
A small community consisting of 12 homes in the heart of Hendersonville, this drive was named after Kay Thomas, a long-time volunteer and former President of the affiliate.
Grove Hills
Located off of Crest Road in East Flat Rock, Grove Hills is a community of 18 homes and was awarded the Best New Housing Development Award from the Department of Commerce Community Development Block Grant Small Cities Program.
Jackson Heights Subdivision
Habitat purchased this Hendersonville property from Housing Assistance Corporation and constructed homes alongside 7 families.
Green Meadows Subdivision
Habitat purchased this Hendersonville property from Housing Assistance Corporation and constructed 14 homes in partnership with families who now pay an affordable mortgage.
